The new year is upon us, and we're excited to share a sneak peek at what's been materializing behind the scenes. Fresh from the manufacturing cosmos, we've received the blank box samples for Phantom Epoch, which is a critical piece of the puzzle in our quest to bring the game to life.

Class Tuckboxes and Monumental Mission Books 📚
If we were to spread out all of the components included in this hefty box, we wouldn't be able to fit everything in the photo. And there's still more to come.
A sampling of the components found inside, including rulebook, boss boards, campaign and character sheets, mission books, class tuckboxes, class boards, and various card decks.
One of the highlights in this stellar delivery are the class tuckboxes, which are poised to house the diverse paths of your characters. Only one is opened in the photos, but each one is packed full of endless possibilities to build your playstyle, how you want it.
Equally exciting are the mission books, whose substantial weight in hand is a testament to the epic narratives they contain. Flipping through the pages, even in their blank state, hints at the gravity of adventures they promise to hold. We believe these mission books will redefine your tabletop experience, offering an immersive dive into the world of Phantom Epoch. You may have played games on map books before, but never anything quite like these. They are truly worthy of the galaxy they contain.

We've also included rules for one-shot adventures, making it easy for both new and seasoned players to jump right in.
In other exciting news, late November we started submitting files to our manufacturer, marking a significant step in the production process. The results from our latest poll are in, and it's official: in our first community mission on Thespara, you will embark on a thrilling journey as treasure hunters! Your quest to uncover high-tech equipment left behind by the Vanished promises to be an adventure filled with mystery and excitement.
Dive Into the Action Now on Tabletop Simulator!🎲
For those eager to jump into the action, we have fantastic news: the first community mission is already available to play on Tabletop Simulator! Experience the adventure without waiting for your physical copy.
If you're new to Phantom Epoch or want a refresher, we've got you covered. Check out these resources to gear up for your treasure hunt:
Phantom Epoch Rulebook: Familiarize yourself with the rules. Take particular note of a new addition on Page 15: Training Missions. This section includes optional rules for running one-shot missions outside of a campaign - the perfect way to experience Community Mission #1 ahead of receiving your physical copy.
In a surprising turn of events, our second community mission won't be taking us to another planet but to an enigmatic space station! Prepare for a unique experience in Community Mission #2 as we step foot on a space station that hasn't been visited in millennia.
Steady Progress on All Fronts🎨
We're thrilled to announce that on the development side of Phantom Epoch, only two key tasks remain: 1) finalizing the artwork for the remaining mission maps, and 2) continuing with our rigorous playtesting. This marks a significant phase of near-completion in our development process.
The artwork for all other game components is now complete, a testament to the exceptional talent of our artists. The world of Phantom Epoch has been brought to life with incredible artistry. Our illustrators are diligently working on the remaining mission maps, consistently delivering fantastic and immersive work.
In tandem, our playtesting is ongoing and in full swing. While every aspect of the game has already undergone extensive playtesting, we believe in the mantra that there's no such thing as too much playtesting. We continue to refine and polish, focusing on small tweaks that enhance the gameplay experience. This thorough playtesting process will continue relentlessly until we reach our final stages.
Meanwhile, we're also making steady progress in our preparations for manufacturing. We're dedicated to ensuring that every component of Phantom Epoch meets our high standards of quality, advancing steadily towards production.

Thespara: The Winner and Your Next Adventure 🏆
The votes are in, and we're thrilled to announce that Thespara, the jungle-planet homeworld of the Slinks, has been chosen as the setting for our first community mission! As these Training Missions are recreations of past events, experienced in the Time Chamber aboard the Phantom Epoch, we have a lot of flexibility in how these stories unfold. You're not just players; you're also co-authors of this expanding universe.
To that end, we have a two-part poll to help guide the community mission on Thespara.
Your Role on Thespara 🙋♂️
First, we want to know: in this mission on Thespara, should your characters be:
Under the employ of the Shadow, the enigmatic leader of Thespara's thieves guild.
Rebels fighting against the Glorious Chieftain, the cunning and egomaniacal leader of Thespara.
Mercenaries working for the highest bidder.
Treasure hunters in pursuit of high-tech equipment left behind by the Vanished.
Next Stop: Orbos, Berkav or Beyond? 🌎
And secondly, for our next visit, where shall we go?
During the Kickstarter campaign, we teased some of the Advanced Classes, holding back on revealing the Arsonist's due to artwork still being in progress. While we're keeping the finer details a secret to be discovered in-game, we're excited to unveil the Character Class board of the Pyromancer, one of the advanced classes the Arsonist can evolve into!
The Pyromancer's incredible ability to harness Vanished technology, manipulating fire as both weapon and tool, lends the class an air of near-mysticism.
We hope this stokes the fires of your excitement!
